Ingra paid no attention to the other TV, but she watches this one very very intensely for hours sitting on the microwave. She cocks her head with every movement of people on the screen. I've seen cats watch a TV, for a while but not for hours on end and so intensely interested in it.

I would think that is Methuen Hall, since the recording shown is by the Boston Symphony.

After prayers, it's refreshing to hear such a melancholy voice speaking of love, reminding us of our blessings, love that soothes the mind, arouses the heart and sends satisfaction to the depths of the soul. If you have a loved one, try the 6 second kiss!❤

It's my favorite rendition of this Irving Berlin classic. My aunt in Maryland, who helped raise me from 1944 (my birth year) to 1956, owned the vinyl monaural LP and gave it to me because I liked it so much. In fact I still have it even though I foolishly sold some of my vinyls many years ago. The album (All Alone Am I) has exceptional sound quality and I think it's the greatest Brenda Lee LP ever released. Brenda's cover of I Left My Heart in San Francisco is even better than the original by the late great Tony Bennett, at least in my opinion.

Eberhard Storch wrote a song called Auf Wiedersehen in 1950. Since this performance is in 1932, and I don't think Abe Lyman's orchestra were time travellers, this is not that song. This 1932 song is called Auf Wiedersehen, My Dear, and was written by four Americans; the 1950 song by Storch was originally German and in English is called Auf Wiedersehen, Sweetheart.

Even in their churches, they sponsor normalizing drinking, and alcohol kills thousands yearly, then instead of guiding people to a liver saving alternative, they seek to destroy constitutional right for the cannabis communities, giving church, and God a bad name, and shame on the warmongers

There used to be a community center in the little town of Palatka, Florida ... There was a small cannon outside of it. Inside, there was a neat jukebox. I played guitar in this little place, my favorite in a 40 year career of weekenders. It was July of 1965 and would be the last time Dawn and The Daybreaks would play there. On the old juke was a card that read, "Maybe Baby" by Buddy Holly, still on there after seven or so years. I was poor as a church mouse back then; but that was treasure to me, as was hearing this cherished Paris Sisters song ...

Today the huge onslaught of new FM xlators has made interference the norm, so many stations now have harsh co-channel interference that affects the even the best of DSP radios. FCC grants new licenses for 250W FM xlators at ANY height (correct me if I’m wrong) which causes station interference within existing stations 60dbu contour. There are many examples of this around the country.
